Peter DuPre (WWII veteran)
He wows the crowd.
World War II veteran Peter DuPre paid tribute those who lost their lives in the Pearl Harbor attack with a beautiful rendition of the national anthem on his harmonica.
DuPre is one of more than 100 World War II veterans who were flown to Hawaii to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the attack.
In memory of the 2,400 who were killed on December 7, 1941, there is an annual college basketball tournament, the Pearl Harbor Invitational.
The two-day tournament is held at Bloch Arena on the very base that Japanese forces attacked in 1941.
Before the tip-off between Seton Hall University and the University of California, Berkeley on Wednesday night, DuPre took to the court to perform the anthem with only his harmonica.
DuPre's unique, moving rendition of "The Star-Spangled Banner" absolutely brought the house down.
